Our office closed in March 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. As the Scottish Government lead us through the route map out of the crisis, we will keep tenants updated with the services that we can offer.

Update from Monday 17th May 2021

Following the latest advice from the Scottish Government, our office will be open to the public for appointments only from Monday 17th May. Appointments must be booked in advance by calling 01506 439291 or emailing enquiries@almondha.org.uk.

We ask that when you are in the building, you adhere to social distancing guidelines and wear a face covering (unless exempt). If you have any worries or concerns, please let us know in advance.

Update from Monday 26th April 2021

In line with the Scottish Governments easing of restrictions, we are aiming to return to a full repairs service from Monday 26th April 2021. Our contractors are required to work differently, maintaining social distancing, and that will have an impact on the level of work that they can achieve.

Since January 2021 we have only been able to carry out emergency and urgent repairs, as well as routine external works. We have continued to record routine internal works which tenants have reported throughout this period, and we have held them on our system until we were able to get the work done safely. This has resulted in a backlog of repairs which we will manage in the coming months.

This could be a very busy time as customers continue to report new repairs, and we will therefore manage the number of backlog jobs issued to the Contractors at any time.

If you have already reported a repair, you do not need to re-report this. A member of staff will contact you over the coming weeks to ensure the work is still required and to advise you on the timescale allocated to your repair. They will also ask you to confirm that no one in your household has any covid symptoms or are self-isolating.

Tenants should continue to report new repairs as normal.

Internal inspections by our staff will only be permitted in essential circumstances, however our Maintenance Supervisors are working hard to liaise with tenants via phone calls, emails, photos etc to diagnose as much as possible at this time.

We would like to thank all our customers for their patience and understanding both during Lockdown and throughout this next stage. We are working to return to normal as quickly, and safely, as possible.
