Benefits and Income Maximisation
We provide a free and confidential service to support our tenants with their finances.
Our advisor can:
- Check you are in receipt of your full benefit entitlement
- Assist with benefit claims and completion of application forms
- Help with any benefit-related issues
- Assist with appeals and representation at tribunals
- Advise on debt-related matters
Over the last year, this service has enabled tenants to claim benefits which totalled in excess of £140,000!
In addition to this service, we also have our Tenancy Sustainment Officer. This role is to ultimately make life a bit easier for tenants helping with things like hoarding, applying for grant funding, as well as signposting and faciliating meetings.
How can I book an appointment?
There is currently a waiting list, therefore we would advise that if you do need support, please liaise with your Housing Officer in the first instance by calling the office 01506 439 291 or emailing enquiries@almondha.org.uk.
