Housing Management
The team is led by Director of Housing Management Sandy Young, and is split into a Housing Support team and a Housing Officer team.
Supporting our tenants
The Housing Management team handles the core part of our business. They are typically the first point of contact for our customers and deal with the day-to-day frontline operations at Almond. Getting applicants matched with a home, and then supporting them to retain their home, is the most important role in housing management.
The Housing Support team is the first point of contact for applicants and tenants. Any member of the team can help with application enquiries, repairs, taking rent payments and making referrals to our Benefits and Income Maximisation service.
We can also refer to other agencies such as The SchoolBank, HomeAid and Women's Aid. If we can’t help, we will do all that we can to find an organisation that can.
Our Housing Assistants deal with any repairs enquiries or problems you are having within your property. If this cannot be resolved at the first point of contact our Housing Officers are happy to help.
Housing Officers
We want our tenants to be proud of where they live and our Housing Officers play a vital part in creating great homes and neighbourhoods within our stock.
The Housing Officer team is led by Housing Manager Jonathan Bertram, and count seven Housing Officers. The team is responsible for the management of our tenants' homes and neighbourhoods, including collecting rent, dealing with problems of antisocial behaviour, managing our local estates and communal areas, and supporting tenants from the moment they move into their new home and throughout their time as a tenant with us.
Who is my Housing Officer?
You can talk to your Housing Officer confidentially if you are experiencing antisocial behaviour, having difficulty paying your rent, or if you need any advice.
