If you think something in your property is broken beyond repair you can submit a request for an inspection. Once we have received your request we will arrange an inspection and assess the problem you have reported.
The work we carry out
In addition to our day-to-day repair service, we make yearly investments in a variety of large-scale maintenance projects, such as painterwork, new roofs, external wall insulation and electrical upgrades. We also carry out regular maintenance such as the repair of gutters and the painting of windows and doors.
In 2016-17 we invested a total of £2.09m in a variety of projects. We completed 228 partial electrical upgrades and provided new roofs for 119 properties and new external doors for 214 properties. Another 389 properties and 169 garages had their exterior painted, and 122 properties benefited from new external wall insulation.

Value for money
Our procurement process is robust and all contractors are selected carefully. Not only are contracted selected based on the contract value but also on their ability to deliver the high levels of quality which we demand. This ensures that every pound of your rent committed to improvements is spent wisely.
Our current focus
EESSH (Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing) compliance is currently one of our high priority projects.
EESSH is an energy usage-based standard derived by Scottish Government for all social landlords to meet and maintain by December 2020.
The standard will improve the energy efficiency of social housing in Scotland, and contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emission by an anticipated 42% by 2020 and thereafter 80% by 2050. The improvement to properties will also assist greatly in combatting fuel poverty within our stock.
79% of our stock now complies with EESSH compared to 67% last year and 58% in 2016/17.
EESSH is measured through Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) which tell you how energy efficient a building is. Find out more about EPCs.
